How We Began
Flint River Learning Christian Center was born from a deep calling to serve the families of Jonesboro, Georgia. Our founder recognized a need for quality, affordable childcare that didn't just educate children — but nurtured their whole being: mind, body, and spirit.
What started as a small, faith-driven vision has grown into a thriving center serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Every classroom, every lesson, and every interaction is guided by our Christian values and our commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
We are proud to hold a 3-Star Quality Rated designation — the highest rating in Georgia's Quality Rated system — a testament to our dedicated staff, enriching curriculum, and the loving environment we provide every single day.

Center Director & Founder
With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, our director founded Flint River Learning with a heart for children and a vision for excellence. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about faith-centered learning.
Flint River Care & Community Growth Foundation
Extending our mission beyond the classroom — serving families and building community through faith-driven outreach.
The Flint River Care and Community Growth Foundation is the nonprofit arm of our organization, dedicated to supporting families in need throughout the Jonesboro, Georgia community. We believe that caring for children means caring for the whole family.
One of our most beloved outreach programs is our Community Baby Showers — free events where expectant mothers and new parents receive essential baby items, encouragement, prayer, and connection with local resources. These showers are a celebration of new life and a reminder that no family has to walk this journey alone.
