The Flint River Care and Community Growth Foundation is our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and communities through education, outreach, and compassionate service. Founded alongside the center, the Foundation extends our mission beyond the classroom — providing resources, support, and hope to families in need throughout the greater Jonesboro area.

From education to holiday giving, our programs meet families where they are and walk alongside them.
Family Education & Literacy
We provide workshops, resources, and one-on-one support to help parents and caregivers strengthen their children's early literacy and school readiness at home.
Back-to-School Drives
Each year we collect and distribute school supplies, backpacks, and clothing to children in our community who need a strong start to the school year.
Holiday Giving Programs
Through our holiday outreach, we partner with local churches and businesses to provide meals, gifts, and essentials to families facing hardship during the holiday season.
Childcare Subsidy Assistance
We help qualifying families navigate Georgia's CAPS childcare subsidy program and connect them with financial assistance so no child is left without quality care.
Faith & Character Development
Through community events, vacation Bible school, and youth programming, we nurture the spiritual growth and character of children and families in our neighborhood.
Community Partnerships
We collaborate with local schools, churches, nonprofits, and businesses to amplify our impact and ensure every family in Jonesboro has access to the support they need.
Monthly Community Baby Shower
